Tucked away on Caine Road, 5 mins walk from the escalator - turn right if you are going upwards and it's on the opposite side to Park & Shop - very glamorous instructions - ha!
The best bit: At Ai Spa, Caine Road facials involving steaming, extractions, electro therapy and masks are super effective. You may not look pretty immediately after - I'm just preparing you, but you won't get a better pore cleaning anywhere for any money in Hong Kong. Fanny is simply the business.
The worst bit: Ai Spa is not a swanky spa, but then they also do not have swanky prices. It is pretty and homely inside rather than intimidating and impressive. Book ahead with Fanny as she gets busy (and occasionally overruns later in the day). The other therapists are not especially recommended.
Review: I go to Ai Spa through a friend's suggestion. My friend have been doing there for 2 yrs. And the skin is clean and brightful after doing it. I have tried many products from different shops before but those products are not useful and costly. Trying Ai Spa products is far better since 60-70%of my pimples got recovered. Thanks to Ai Spa!!
Review: I went to this spa to get a facial and I've heard a few positive reviews of it, and people been saying that it is cheap.
However, I AM TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED!! I didnt like the products they used and I started to get rashes right after the facial. I point out the rash to her and she totally neglected it and said impossible. But it literally just spread. Absolutely unbelievable how unethical they can be.
Review: Just went to Ai Spa today after reading the gd reviews on this website. Did a massage which I felt was not bad and cheap. But personally did not like the smell of the oil they used. and not sure if it was just me - i feel its very different from the massages that i usu do in Indonesia or Thailand.
Also did a facial coz it was so highly recommended on this site and was very satisfied! It was so comfortable that I fell asleep during the session. Fanny was friendly and good at what she does. My face feels really clean and free of blackheads after the facial. I was so satisfied that I signed up for the facial package with each facial session at HK$247 each time.
It also helps that it is centrally located at Caine Road near where I live..
Review: i come to this shop because i think that my face have many pimples. the price is the major factor that i come to this shop is quite cheap. the staff in this spa room is really nice,, after i finish my facial,it is very clean. although i think that a little bit red on my face, after 1-2 days the disappeared. i highly recommend the body massage. it is only 150 dolloars for 45 minutes. i feel happy after i finished that. i also buy some pimples serum at last. Fanny is good that she is not hard-sell. she is really selling product that i really need. i think this is a good experience of the facial and the massage!
Review: Not that great. Her facials left me with some scars on the forehead, which didn't clear up even after a few days. Facials aren't supposed to leave you with scars! However, I love her facial massages, and I like the fact that she lavishes a lot of products on your face.
Review: I was visiting my friend who suggested Fanny. The backheads on my nose really needed work and she really blasted them hard - with mo marks though! I felt so clean afterwards. I never had such a facial. Usually I think they are a waste of time, but this really made me look better for around 2 weeks. Wish I was in HK and I would go regularly! She also has some good products which are expensive (big bottle around 600 hkd for an astringent) but are REALLY good and have been keeping my skin in check.
